Rotate a Selection
Rotate a selection without rotating the entire image.

1. To rotate a selection on a layer, select the desired layer in the layers palette.
If you want to rotate an entire layer, choose Select > All. Then skip to step 4.

2. Select the Marquee tool .
You may want to use a different selection tool depending on the shape of the object you want to select.

3. Click and drag to select the portion of the image you wish to rotate.

4. Choose Image > Rotate > Free Rotate.

5. Rotate the selection.
To rotate the image, position the pointer outside the border - the pointer turns into a curved, two-sided arrow - and drag.

6. Click the OK button in the options bar to commit the rotation.

	6.	Click the OK button in the options bar to commit the rotation.
